As we read the original Shakespeare in class (with audio, movie clips, and lots of discussion), it will be useful for you to visit the online sites that translate the play into modern English. No Fear Shakespeare is a great site to summarize the scenes and/or look up quotes for study guide questions. Beware of all the distracting pop-ups and ads!!!
Turnitin.com is a great online tool that helps students understand the proper qualities of a research paper. It allows for electronic submission of any written papers and online grading remarks. The Purdue Online Writing Lab is a favorite you will keep all throughout high school and college. They have great tips on there, especially for the MLA style of writing we will learn about this year in the research paper unit.
